Mawdsleys selected as Neon Healthcare’s new distribution partner

Mawdsleys has won a new distribution deal with Neon Healthcare, which was recently handed its first Commercial Medicines Unit (CMU) contract.

The partnership commenced on March 1st, with Mawdsleys acting as the client's distributor to hospitals in England, supplying Neon Healthcare products to fulfil the terms of the CMU arrangement.

Neon Healthcare provides a wide range of services pertaining to the commercialisation of pharmaceutical products in the UK and Ireland, assisting with brand launches and market analysis functions.

A statement from Neon Healthcare said: "We have chosen Mawdsleys as our distribution partner due to their flexible approach, dedicated hospital account team and their desire to ensure both ourselves – and, more importantly, our customers – receive good service.”

Mawdsleys has been able to expand its portfolio of partnership agreements, having signed a deal to distribute three licensed products from Hope Pharmaceuticals towards the end of last year.

The trio of medicines – sodium nitrite injection, sodium thiosulfate injection and nithiodote kits – are now available across the UK exclusively from Mawdsleys.
