McCann Health and Langland scoop top prizes at 2016 Global Awards

McCann Health and Langland have once again scooped the top prizes at the 2016 Global Awards, which celebrate the best in health and wellness advertising.

For a fifth year running, McCann Health was named best global network, while Langland took the title of best agency – two of the most prestigious awards handed out on the evening.

McCann Health claimed an additional six awards and 17 finalist certificates, including the top prize in the nutritional management advertising to the consumer/patient category for its Make a Nappy Happy campaign on behalf of Typharm.

Jeremy Perrott, global chief creative officer at McCann Health, said: "Winning the global healthcare agency network of the year for the fifth consecutive year is an absolute honour."

Meanwhile, Langland took home five awards for its AMP Shoes campaign for Diabetes UK and Gaucher campaign for Shire, plus two finalist certificates.

Other winners at the 22nd Global Awards included FCB Health, which won the title of local healthcare network of the year, while the 2016 Grand Global Award was handed to Grey Group Singapore.
