McCann Health leads pack at 2017 Lions Health awards
McCann Health has emerged as the big winner at the 2017 Lions Health awards, which took place in Cannes last week.
The ceremony saw the agency take home four gold and four silver trophies for its Immunity Charm initiative for Afghanistan's ministry of public health, which also won the Grand Prix for Good trophy, reports PMLiVE.
Additionally, McCann Health was named as healthcare network of the year, with FCB Health coming second and the CDM Group finishing third.
Other winners included Area 23 and Oglivy, which collected gold trophies for their Trafficking Exam and VR Vaccine campaigns, respectively, while F5, J Walter Thompson and Medulla Communications all earned silver awards.
The healthcare agency of the year prize went to New York's Area 23, ahead of Medulla Communications in Mumbai and McCann Health's New Delhi branch.
June Laffery, president of the jury and executive creative director of McCann Health Australia, said: "This show not only recognises the very best of pharma work across the globe, but it's a looking glass to the future of what we can achieve and how we can save and empower many lives."
