MHP Communications campaign for NHS leads CIPR Excellence Awards nominations

6th April 2016

The nominees for the 2016 CIPR Excellence Awards have been announced, with a campaign by MHP Communications leading the line-up.

The agency's Missing Type initiative for NHS Blood and Transplant received the most nominations for a single campaign, making the shortlist in five categories: public sector campaign, public affairs campaign, integrated campaign, best use of media relations and best use of social media.

Contesting the best healthcare campaign category will be Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, McCann, Ogilvy Healthworld, Pegasus and Ketchum, with the latter receiving two nominations in this bracket.

Ogilvy was also one of the most nominated agencies for health-related work, picking up nods in the best external publication and best event categories in addition to best healthcare campaign.

Overall, Tin Man led the way for this year's nominations thanks to its inclusion in seven campaign categories, while also picking up a nod for outstanding small PR consultancy.

Paul Mylrea and Sandra Macleod, the heads of the judging panel, said: "To be shortlisted is a reason to celebrate, all the more so as the standard of entries improves year-on-year; testament to an industry that's growing in importance and influence."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801816048-ADNFCR
