Millipore among attendees at Manchester event

Millipore will be among the many corporate scientific product companies appearing at a specialist event that takes place in Manchester this week.

The 4th Annual Biomarkers Congress will address a number of concerns for the pharmaceutical industry including research and development, equipment and drug success rates and competitive pricing.

Presented by Oxford Global Conferences, the event will be attended by more than 200 senior experts including Alan Tunnicliffe, Millipore’s European Technology Manager for Biosciences.

Also appearing will be Stefan Sultana, Pfizer’s Translational Medicine Leader for GU Therapeutics and Michael Shi, Director and Biomarker Project Leader of Exploratory Oncology Development at Novartis.

Other firms taking part include, Abbott, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, Bayer Healthcare, Lundbeck, Schering-Plough and Merck.

The 4th Annual Biomarkers Congress takes place at the Midland Hotel in Peter Street in the city centre on Thursday February 26th and Friday 27th. Registrations will be accepted from 08:00 GMT.
