Millipore introduces new MultiScreen filter plates

Millipore has revealed the latest addition to its family of MultiScreen filter plates- the MultiScreen HTS+ for radiometric Kinase and GPCR assays.

According to the company, the new filter plate has mesh backing to create uniformly flowing wells- which improve washing efficiency.

It added that the new design reduces overall non-specific binding and variability in background and signal intensities.

"The filter plates allow for higher throughput, greater assay sensitivity and detection flexibility," continued Millipore.

Initial validation testing of the product showed a three-fold decrease in well-to-well variability and improved signal to noise ration over traditionally used filter plates.

Millipore is a life science leader providing services for the bioscience research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
