MSLGroup appoints new technology practice director

MSLGroup has announced the appointment of experienced PR professional Will McIntyre as the new director of its technology practice.

Mr McIntyre joins the company from TJX Europe, the parent company of TK Maxx, where he played a key role in establishing a pan-European social media structure and strategy, reports PRWeek.

His 17-year comms background includes work with companies such as Sony Mobile, PayPal, Intel, Microsoft and Motorola. In his new position, he will oversee a team with clients including PFU Fujitsu, Alcatel One Touch and Atos.

The hire follows the departure of Merran Wrigley and a major restructure of MSLGroup London, which was finalised at the end of 2013.

Jeremy Sice, chief executive officer of MSLGroup London, said: "The appointment of Will, following the recent senior appointments of Andrew MacDougall and Stanislas Maginant, is a further demonstration of our ambition. It's interesting times here for sure."

Other clients of the agency include global brands such as Procter and Gamble, Siemens, Danone, Nestle and GlaxoSmithKline.
