Napp wins recognition for excellence in employee engagement
Napp Pharmaceutical Group has achieved a strong performance in an employee engagement ranking compiled by the Sunday Times, rating as the UK’s highest-placed pharmaceuticals company.
The firm came fifth in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For among mid-sized companies, the highest ranking it has achieved to date.
Moreover, this comes weeks after Napp was awarded three-star accreditation through the scheme run by Best Companies, becoming one of only fifty companies to do so.
Antony Mattessich, managing director of Napp, stated that its ability to motivate and engage its workforce allows the company to perform better in a competitive marketplace.
He added: “Napp is an exciting place to be, full of energised, successful people who take personal responsibility for our success.”
The company is a specialist in the field of pain relief and ranked as the 16th largest pharmaceuticals firm in the UK in terms of GP prescription sales, as of the end of 2008.
