Nestle announces new leader of skin health business

Nestle has announced that Paul Navarre is joining the company as chief executive officer of its skin health business on November 1st 2016.

Mr Navarre is joining the company from Allergan, where he has served in various leadership roles since 2007, most recently serving as president of its international business. He started his career with Procter and Gamble, where he spent 15 years in positions involving both consumer goods and healthcare.

A statement from the company said: "Paul Navarre's consumer goods and healthcare background, his extensive international career and proven leadership skills make him ideally suited to take Nestle Skin Health to the next level."

Humberto Antunes, the company's current skin health business leader, will be leaving Nestle at the end of October 2016 to pursue new career opportunities.

He originally joined the Nestle-owned Galderma business in 1997, taking over leadership of its worldwide operations in 2004 and finally became chief executive of Nestle Skin Health in 2014. During this period, he helped the company become a global player in the field of dermatology.
