Nestle Skin Health boss handed permanent CEO role

22nd May 2017

Nestle Skin Health has confirmed the appointment of Stuart Raetzman as its permanent chief executive officer (CEO).

Mr Raetzman was selected as interim CEO of the business in December 2016, after the previously-announced appointee Paul Navarre was unable to take up the role for reasons related to his previous employment.

A healthcare professional with more than 25 years of industry experience, he has now been handed the position on a permanent basis, having previously held senior executive positions in the pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical technology, capital equipment and consumer products sectors.

Mark Schneider, chief executive officer of Nestle, said: "Nestle's purpose is to enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future. Under Stuart's leadership, Nestle Skin Health will support our overall mission."

Mr Raetzman joined Nestle in 2014 as president for North America, before moving to Nestle Skin Health's global headquarters in Lausanne the following year.

Humberto Antunes, the company's previous skin health CEO, left Nestle at the end of October 2016 to pursue new career opportunities.
