New healthcare comms agency Skin and Blister launches in UK

20th February 2017

A new healthcare communications agency called Skin and Blister has been launched in the UK by a pair of experienced professionals.

Based in Reading, the new agency offers a full range of pharmaceutical marketing services, including social media and experiential marketing, as well as a division dedicated to clinical trial patient recruitment and retention.

The company has been set up by Fiona Edwards and Katie Langdon, who aim to utilise a sophisticated insight-gathering approach to help make complex health information as accessible and useful as possible.

A creative copywriter who was previously employed by Lime Advertising, Ms Langdon will act as the agency's creative director, while Ms Edwards – a freelance account director and copywriter since 2007 – will take on the role of managing director.

Ms Edwards said: "With Skin and Blister, you aren't paying for unnecessary extras. You get bespoke creative work from our team of healthcare communications experts."

Skin and Blister has already won a contract with a large client and will hope to build on this momentum by offering high-quality personalised services.
