New tech agency Rebeltech founded by former Marketing Week editor

10th October 2017

A new business-to-business tech PR agency called Rebeltech has been launched in London.

Mark Choueke, former editor of industry publication Marketing Week, has founded the business alongside Nicole Lyons, the former head of the boutique agency Purple Yolk.

Mr Choueke left Marketing Week in 2012 to move to Chime and has since worked in-house at tech firms Qubit and Freespee, while Ms Lyons' former employers include the marketing tech firm Vuture and the agency Hotwire.

At launch, Rebeltech's clients will include the artificial intelligence business AIStudio, an unnamed New York-based retail tech firm and a London fintech company.

It is targeting start-ups in London and other tech hubs, with a strategic focus on driving internal storytelling capabilities to help shorten sales cycles.

Mr Choueke told PRWeek: "Tech companies wouldn't dream of outsourcing their software. Our dream is to help our clients reach the point where they don't have to outsource their storytelling either."
