Next Fifteen appoints interim chief financial officer

18th November 2013

Next Fifteen has named Peter Harries as its new interim chief financial officer, as it continues to search for a permanent appointment.

Mr Harries is the former finance chief of Bell Pottinger and 19 Entertainment and recently completed a spell as interim finance director at Centaur Media. He is considered a potential candidate to take on the job at Next Fifteen permanently, reports PRWeek.

He has been hired as the successor to David Dewhurst, who exited the company at the end of last month after the communications group issued a profit warning, owing in part to ongoing audit issues at subsidiary Bite.

The troubles came despite Next Fifteen achieving a record revenue total of 96.1 million pounds during the 12 months ending on July 31st 2013, up by five percent year on year, with contracts won with Sainsbury's and HBO in recent months.

As such, company chairman Richard Eyre has noted that significant progress has been made in the last year, despite its disappointing profit levels.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801661917-ADNFCR
