NHS Will Enhance Online Capacity to Provide Medications for Weight Loss

There are four main digital services— Liva, Oviva, Roczenm & Second Nature, which can be accessed on a desktop, laptop or through mobile apps. They will be accessible to anyone with a body mass index of no less than 35 and at least one other condition associated with weight.

NICE stated that, ‘These four platforms could provide an option to accessing weight management support to those people who live in an area with no specialist weight management services.’

Approximately 48,000 individuals will be able to use the online resources, according to NICE’s predictions, saving healthcare professionals approximately 145,000 hours of work.
