Nobel Biocare agrees supply arrangement with Noritake

25th February 2010

Nobel Biocare has agreed a deal with restorative and prosthetic materials firm Noritake Dental Supply over the production and development of oral care products.

The company has signed a preferred partnership deal with the Japanese firm which is intended to allow it to augment its offering of end-to-end prosthetic solutions, with the deal also pertaining to joint development activities and educational programmes.

It is the third such arrangement organised by Nobel Biocare, following previously confirmed deals with suppliers Ivoclar Vivadent and VITA Zahnfabrik.

Domenico Scala, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, stated that these agreements will allow the company to work with some of the world’s leading material suppliers.

He added: “Customers and patients benefit from fully compatible solutions that lead to even better treatment processes and final restorative results.”

Earlier this month, the dental care company published its financial results for 2009, reporting declining revenues attributed to the global economic crisis.
