Nobel Biocare expands implant system

11th October 2010

Nobel Biocare has announced a number of new improvements for the products in its NobelReplace and Replace Select Tapered implant lines.

The manufacturer is extending the range, which it states is currently the world's most widely-used implant system, in order to deliver more flexibility to dental professionals.

As part of this, new 8mm implants will be added to the Replace Select system, while lengths of 11.5mm are being introduced for both implant lines.

These implants will be fully compatible with the new plate that has been developed for the surgical kit, which features a clearly marked layout and a drill protocol display in order to help improve workflows.

Nobel Biocare states that these upgrades will complement the existing advantages of the system, including its colour coding, ease of use and standardised drilling protocols.

In August 2010, the company published its interim report for the fiscal year so far, noting its success in expanding product lines such as NobelProcera and NobelActive despite challenging market conditions.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800109249-ADNFCR
