Nobel Biocare expresses goals of new partnership

15th January 2010

Nobel Biocare has expressed its plans for the future following news that it will work with fellow dental supplier firm Ivoclar Vivadent.

The companies have signed a preferred partnership deal, which will see Nobel Biocare gain access to high-performance ceramic and acrylic prosthetic materials.

This, it revealed, will allow it to expand its restorative and prosthetic portfolio with the introduction of new materials, products and solutions.

Chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare Domenico Scala said: “This cooperation, which also encompasses research, development and education, ensures optimal product fit between the two providers, leading to better clinical results for dental professionals and their patients.”

In November, the organisation released its interim financial results for the third quarter of 2009 and the first nine months of the year.

They revealed that revenues were in-line with market conditions, with growth easing by 6.8 per cent to 425.7 million euros (380.4 million pounds) during the period.
