Nobel Biocare launches new cement-free dental restoration solution
Nobel Biocare has unveiled a complete cement-free dental restoration treatment concept at the recent International Dental Show.
Developed to address the most common challenges faced when restoring molar teeth, the new solution offers two new wide-platform implants engineered specifically for the posterior region.
The NobelProcera FCZ (full-contour zirconia) Implant Crown is the key restorative component, with its screw-retained design, monolithic zirconia composition and screw channel angulation options allowing it to combine strength with flexibility.
Meanwhile, the NobelParallel Conical Connection is the latest in a long line of parallel-walled implants developed by the company, featuring a parallel-walled implant body and an advanced internal conical connection.
Richard Laube, Nobel Biocare's chief executive officer, said: "The innovations featured in our new complete posterior solution build on our heritage by further helping dental professionals to treat more patients better."
The company has a long heritage as a manufacturer of high-quality dental supplies. It was acquired by the global science and technology firm Danaher last year.
