Nobel Biocare launches new Locator R-Tx Attachment System

Nobel Biocare has announced the launch of its new Locator R-Tx Removable Denture Attachment System.

Designed for edentulous treatment applications, Locator R-Tx is an evolution of the established Locator Attachment System and is designed to provide a number of advantages compared to its predecessor.

These include the new DuraTec titanium carbon nitride coating, which is harder and more wear-resistant than the nitride coating of the legacy Locator and helps to reduce roughness. It also eliminates the need for pre-angled abutments and incorporates flats and grooves to prevent dislodgement of the denture.

The new product will be officially launched at the company's Global Symposium in New York, which takes place from June 23rd to 26th. It will be available for Nobel Biocare implants with internal conical, tri-channel and external hex connections.
