Nobel Biocare outlines growth initiatives in interim report

4th November 2010

Nobel Biocare has outlined the measures it has implemented to stimulate long-term development in its interim report for the year to date.

The dental supplies manufacturer has noted that business conditions across all major regions are stabilising as 2010 progresses, allowing the firm to achieve improved results in the third quarter compared to the first and second.

Several new products have been launched over the last few months, including additions to the NobelActive, edentulous solutions and priority NobelProcera product lines.

The firm also commenced its Nobel Biocare Symposia programme, which began with a well-received event in New York and will continue with further conferences in London, Tokyo, Berlin and other cities.

Domenico Scala, chief executive officer, said these developments "bode well for the implant market and our company's ability to return to growth in 2011".

Last month, the company announced that executive committee member Robert Gottlander is to depart the organisation on May 31st 2011.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800217915-ADNFCR
