Nobel Biocare reduces size of executive committee
Nobel Biocare has announced that the size of its executive committee has been reduced by two following the departure of a pair of key figures.
The company has elected not to appoint direct successors to the outgoing Walter Ritter and Petra Rumpf, with their respective responsibilities to be shifted to existing staff members.
Mr Ritter, the firm's executive vice-president for global human resources, will retire by May 2015. Jorg von Manger-Koenig, the executive vice-president for global legal and compliance and group general counsel, will take over his role in addition to his current functions.
Meanwhile, Ms Rumpf – Nobel Biocare's executive vice-president for corporate development – will leave the company to pursue new professional opportunities. Her corporate development tasks will be inherited by chief financial officer Oliver Walker.
Richard Laube, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said: "Both Petra Rumpf and Walter Ritter have been important contributors in helping turn Nobel Biocare around over the past few years."
During the first quarter of this year, the company was able to achieve year-on-year growth on a constant exchange rate basis, maintaining its recent strong momentum.
