Nobel Biocare’s NobelActive earns praise from expert

Nobel Biocare's NobelActive dental implant product has earned praise from an expert professional who was involved in its development.

Dr James Cherry was part of a team of US clinicians to conduct clinical trials of NobelActive prior to the dental implant's debut in 2008, while he was also selected to be the only professional to conduct North American trials of the NobelActive 3.0 version.

He now travels the world teaching dental surgeons how to use the implants on behalf of Nobel Biocare and has praised the efficiency, stability and strength of the products, noting that he uses NobelActive implants exclusively in his own work.

The product range will soon celebrate its fifth anniversary and is available in three versions: NobelActive Regular Platform, NobelActive Narrow Platform and NobelActive 3.0.

Dr Cherry said: "I've been impressed by NobelActive's quality and life-enhancing results since its introduction in 2008 and am absolutely thrilled to have been be involved in its evolution."

Last month, the company reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2013, during which its revenues increased by 2.3 percent year on year.
