Norbrook Laboratories names winner of Closamectin Combi Clamp competition

Norbrook Laboratories has announced the winner of its Closamectin Combi Clamp competition, an initiative targeting farmers attending livestock shows during the year.

Daniel Roberts from Pwllheli, Wales was the winner of the competition, which attracted thousands of entries in total. The company has presented him with a Ritchie Combi Clamp worth 2,700 pounds, plus an auxiliary frame and weighing kit to facilitate dosing.

This competition comes as part of the company's ongoing promotion of responsible animal weighing prior to medicine administration, a process that the Combi Clamp assists by allowing farmers to drench, dag and tag entirely hands-free.

Norbrook marketing manager Chris Geddes said: "We're committed to working with the industry to ensure accurate dosing, and the Combi Clamp helps to do that in a welfare-friendly way."

The competition was run to help promote Norbrook's Closamectin injection for cattle and sheep, which is used to control fluke, worms and external parasites. Norbrook advisors have been discussing the importance of responsible Closamectin treatment with farmers attending industry conferences throughout the year.
