Norbrook names new chief executive officer

Norbrook has announced the appointment of Liam Nagle, formerly of the Sisk Group, as its new chief executive officer.

Mr Nagle has served as chief executive and latterly chairman of Sisk's construction and healthcare businesses. He will take over leadership of Norbrook effective as of the beginning of February 2015.

Prior to joining Sisk, he worked for more than two decades in various positions at Intel, Nortel Networks and Bookham Technology. He can boast extensive experience in the fields of finance, operations, marketing and mergers and acquisitions.

Chairman Sir Roy McNulty said: "The company has a strong track record of innovation and growth, and we look forward to working with Liam in making the most of the opportunities we see ahead."

Norbrook currently operates in 115 countries, with sales of 210 million pounds in the company's most recent financial year to July 2014.

It employs more than 2,300 staff worldwide, with 1,800 of these based at the group's three manufacturing sites in Newry, Northern Ireland.
