Oliver Group acquires digital agency Dare
Oliver Group has announced the acquisition of Dare, the digital agency founded in 2000 by Mark Collier.
Dare is currently owned by EDC Communications, having originally been sold to the Canadian marketing group Cossette in 2007. Following the takeover, it will remain a standalone brand and will operate alongside the Oliver agency.
Its core services include experience planning, platform design and building, product and service development, and content provision. It works with clients across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare.
Key clients include Public Health England, with which it created the anti-smoking campaign Stoptober, while it has also developed the Race for Life smartphone app for Cancer Research UK.
Oliver Group chief executive officer Simon Martin said he believes "the synergies between the two companies' innovative mindsets will lead to an exciting future".
The group has offices in London, Dublin, New York, San Francisco, Miami, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore, employing more than 650 members of staff worldwide.
