Olympus launches high-speed cellFRAP imaging platform

9th September 2015

Olympus has announced the launch of a flexible and accurate cellFRAP imaging platform specifically for the acquisition, monitoring and analysis of dynamic in-vivo processes.

The easy-to-use platform facilitates photomanipulation techniques and is designed with researchers in mind, offering precision and quality, as well as various evaluation options for data presentation needs.

Designed for the popular IX3 open-source concept IX83 and IX73 microscopes, Olympus' cellFRAP system employs a diffraction-limited laser spot to allow for high-intensity and precise positioning of the bleaching region across the full field of view.

A chromatically corrected beam path enables multi-laser stimulation without the need for re-alignment, while the cellFRAP deck can easily be adapted to an existing imaging platform with a full range of compatible accessories.

The manufacturer said: "Tailored to the needs of photomanipulation, Olympus' cellFRAP presents an ideal solution for researchers as an easy-to-use system that provides excellent optical performance, accuracy and microsecond-precise control."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801800062-ADNFCR
