Olympus to demonstrate new microscopy solutions at EMBO 2013

11th September 2013

Olympus has announced plans to attend the upcoming European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) meeting, where it will present its new advances in live cell imaging technologies.

During the conference in Amsterdam from September 21st to 24th 2013, the firm will exhibit its range of IX3 inverted microscope frames with associated software and accessories.

These unique open-source frames feature a swappable deck design which allows optical modules to be easily exchanged into the accessible infinite light path, with Olympus' intention being to create a completely modular and flexible system.

Entries in the range that will be on display include the advanced IX38, which is controlled by the uniquely customisable cellSens imaging software, as well as the highly customisable flexible IX73 offering.

Olympus will also be presenting these products at the Seeing is Believing – Imaging the Processes of Life Symposium hosted by EMBO in collaboration with the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg next month.

This comes after the firm launched a new range of compatible interchangeable optical modules for the IX3 frames last month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801636273-ADNFCR
