Oxford Gene Technology’s CytoSure arrays earn praise from Sheffield NHS trust

4th February 2015

Oxford Gene Technology has earned praise from the Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust thanks to the strong performance of its CytoSure ISCA 8x60k platform.

A new case study from the company has demonstrated the seamless way in which the NHS trust has been able to transfer across to the platform, following a stringent NHS tender for the supply of oligo-based cytogenetics research arrays.

CytoSure was selected due to the quality of its data and analysis software. It was the only platform able to correctly identify all the genetic abnormalities tested, and since its adoption by the Sheffield trust, it has been well received.

Key benefits include the practicality of its high-throughput plate-based labelling functions, its cost effectiveness and high level of accuracy, resulting in fewer uncertain cases.

James Clough, executive vice-president for commercial activities at Oxford Gene Technology, said: "Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, so it's great to get such positive feedback on our products and support. It's a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication."
