Parexel subsidiary launches new medical imaging solution

15th April 2010

Parexel subsidiary Perceptive Informatics has launched a new medical imaging reporting solution, which provides new ways of presenting clinical trial data.

The company’s newly-enhanced service incorporates Metrics Champion Consortium (MCC)-standard performance metrics for imaging core labs, allowing progress to be tracked against the body’s criteria.

It also incorporates a new dashboard and graphical displays designed to allow users to glean vital information on multiple trials at a glance, as well as allowing for cross-study monitoring.

Dr Kenneth Faulkner, vice-president of medical imaging at Perceptive Informatics, said the new system will offer faster execution and greater levels of insight to its clients.

He added: “The various stakeholder groups within imaging-based clinical programs have diverse informational needs, which Perceptive is committed to meeting by continually enhancing our technology capabilities.”

Earlier this month, Parexel launched an intuitive new web-based technology platform for clinical trial management, which incorporates eClinical solutions from Perceptive Informatics.
