Parexel’s Perceptive Informatics unit agrees Sanofi Pasteur deal
Parexel subsidiary Perceptive Informatics is to assist Sanofi Pasteur in improving the efficiency of its drug trials as part of a new deal.
The clinical solutions firm has been selected as the vaccine specialist's new preferred provider of randomisation and trial supply management (RTSM) technologies, in order to help Sanofi Pasteur achieve cost and time savings.
Among the services it will offer are streamlined patient enrolment and data collection methods, as well as providing more efficient trial supply management in complex vaccine studies.
This will be achieved via Perceptive technology that randomises a large number of patients in a short time period, as well as offering faster processing of investigator inquiries.
Steve Kent, president of Perceptive Informatics, said: "Our relationship with Sanofi Pasteur is representative of the commitment we have to helping our key customers gain greater visibility into their trials and improve data access for faster, better decision-making."
Last month, Parexel was selected as the new strategic functional service provider for Lilly, in order to improve the efficiency of clinical trials in Asia-Pacific.
