Pegasus opens Macclesfield office and introduces new branding

Pegasus has announced the opening of a new office in Macclesfield, coming a year after the agency's acquisition by Ashfield Healthcare Communications.

The new office is located within an existing Ashfield site and will allow Pegasus to take advantage of talent recruitment and business development opportunities in the north of England, while working more closely with other Ashfield teams.

Jo Spadaccino, the firm's head of pharma and life sciences, will oversee the Macclesfield office, which is staffed by two new hires and a third employee who has transferred from Brighton, reports PRWeek.

Coinciding with the move, Pegasus has unveiled a new brand identity that has been created in-house by the agency, bringing the firm's corporate branding more closely in line with the rest of the Ashfield group.

Pegasus managing director Simon Hackett said: "Our refreshed identity signifies more than just a strong, new look. It is a symbol of our increased strength and potential in terms of global reach, therapy area experience and service expertise."

Since joining Ashfield last year, the agency has experienced considerable growth, increasing its headcount by ten percent to 110 and has received five consultancy of the year awards.
