Pegasus wins Communique consultancy of the year prize

Pegasus has been presented with the prestigious communications consultancy of the year prize at the recent Communique Awards event in London.

The Brighton-based agency saw off competition from fellow finalists MHP Health, Red Door Communications, Ruder Finn UK and Virgo Health, the latter of which nevertheless received a special commendation within the category.

Pegasus experienced its fifth year of double-digit growth in 2013, with a 25 percent rise in revenue helping it reach a fee income total of six million pounds. It was also recently recognised as the 22nd best small company to work for by the Sunday Times.

The 70-strong team's focus on insight planning, objective setting, creativity and ongoing measurement have helped it meet the needs of clients such as Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer and LloydsPharmacy.

Explaining their decision, the Communique judges said: "We chose Pegasus because they did everything so well. They were authentic, really focused on forming great client relationships and really driving the change in behaviour that would deliver the objectives that their clients want."
