PerkinElmer reveals new multi-label plate readers
PerkinElmer has announced the introduction of a new range of multi-label plate readers.
The EnSpire line has been designed to allow researchers improved access to advanced technologies in assay development in order to achieve better research outcomes, according to the company.
Plate readers in the range include the EnSpire, which is a quad monochromator-based detection platform for use in UV/absorbance and fluorescence intensity research; the EnSpire Alpha, which has been developed for the dedicated use of PerkinElmer’s Alpha technology and the EnSpire AlphaPLUS, which enables both Alpha and Elisas.
"With UV/absorbance capabilities, EnSpire AlphaPLUS enables easy conversion of conventional Elisa assays to the equivalent Alpha technologies," Richard M Eglen, president of bio-discovery explained.
He added the new platform has been built on the company’s EnVision technology in order to allow researchers improved access to PerkinElmer’s Alpha products, people in science sales jobs may be interested to know.
