Pfizer Animal Health to expand UK consulting team

Pfizer Animal Health has announced plans to expand the size of its Vet Support Plus consulting team, in response to rising market demand.

From December 1st 2012, the team will double in size to include 12 members, including three head office positions and four new consultants in Lynn McKeown, Jacqui Griffiths, Claire Stewart and Laurie May.

They will join existing strategic consultants Simon Fowler, Bal Bains, Fiona Sims, Vanessa Wilson and Amy Rook in helping veterinary practices across the UK to improve their business performance.

It is hoped that expanding the team will allow more UK vets to take advantage of the services offered by Vet Support Plus.

Ned Flaxman, the company's business unit director, said: "This investment in our consultancy team is an obvious one for Pfizer Animal Health. By helping our customers grow their business we grow too – it's the perfect win-win for both parties."

Parent company Pfizer is currently moving ahead with plans to spin off Pfizer Animal Health into an independent organisation, which will operate under the new name Zoetis.
