26th June 2009

Pfizer is due to pay shareholders a third-quarter (Q3) dividend on September 2nd.

The board of directors declared there will be a bonus of 16 cents (nine pence) handed out for every unit.

It marks the 283rd consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the company.

Those who are on record holding shares at the close of business on August 7th will be eligible to receive the bonus.

In April, Pfizer released its first quarter 2009 fiscal figures showing a decrease in revenues of eight per cent compared to the same period the previous year.
