Philips presents new military care solutions at DSEI 2017
Philips is attending this year's Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) conference, where it is presenting a number of medical technology innovations with military care applications.
During the event, the company is showcasing a range of vital signs monitoring and emergency care and resuscitation solutions to help diagnose and assess injuries, as well as lightweight ventilation solutions to aid patients at the point of injury.
Diagnostic tools include Philips InnoSight, a highly mobile ultrasound system that can be used within field hospitals, and Philips Lumify, a smart-device enabled ultrasound solution offering exceptional image quality.
Other offerings include IntelliVue X3, a dual-purpose patient monitor that can be transported from a bedside configuration into a portable system, plus an extensive range of bespoke face-to-face and online training and education packages for medical and engineering teams.
Paul Cropper, global head of military and disaster relief at Philips Healthcare, said: "Our growing range of military technologies and solutions enable early, confident diagnosis and rapid, effective treatment for improved patient care."
