Philips to provide networked IT platform for Irish project

Philips is to provide an innovative networked IT platform for an Irish healthcare project in collaboration with Healthcare Software Solutions and Blackrock Clinic in Dublin.

The platform will support faster and more informed clinical decision-making across radiology and cardiology investigations, while also facilitating 24/7 online access to multi-modality patient imaging data sets.

This will leverage the capabilities of tools such as the IntelliSpace ECG management system for the collection and management of cardiology investigation data and reports, and the IntelliSpace Portal R9.0 imaging management tool suite. Philips' DoseWise 9.0 software solution will also provide advanced radiation exposure data analysis tools.

Philips will be responsible for clinician training, equipment maintenance and upgrades, ensuring its newest technologies will be available throughout the term of the contract. Equipment and software installation and coordination will be completed by November 2017.
