Philips to sponsor CSP online respiratory management service
Philips has announced that its Philips Respironics is to sponsor the respiratory management online knowledge database of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
The company will be invited to contribute and share its insights into respiratory management of neuromuscular disease patients through web-based guidance that will help improve their comfort and quality of life.
A key focus area will be the exploration of how advancements in technology, such as airway secretion management systems, can improve patient experiences and bolster care standards.
According to the CSP, Philips has been chosen due to the fact it shares the trade organisation's goals on improving health, wellbeing, prevention and rehabilitation.
Liz Wardell, marketing manager for Philips Respironics, said: "We are delighted to be able to be working with the CSP, sharing knowledge for the common goal of improving the health and wellbeing of people of all ages who suffer from these conditions."
This comes after the firm announced last month that it will be sponsoring two new annual British Institute of Radiology awards designed to support trainees.
