Phonak launches new Naida B and Sky B hearing aids

Phonak has expanded its new-generation Belong platform with the addition of the new Naida B and Sky B hearing aids.

The lithium-ion rechargeable Naida B-R RIC and Sky B-PR devices will be rolling out across the world in March, with the CROS B-R hearing aid – a solution for single-sided deafness – following later in the spring.

The new Naida B device is designed specifically to treat severe to profound hearing loss, offering Adaptive Phonak Digital Contrast technology and a rechargeable Receiver-in-Canal option.

Meanwhile, the Sky B range is optimised for use in children, utilising AutoSense Sky OS – the only operating system built specifically for young patients – and SoundRecover2, which provides access to a broader range of sounds essential for speech and language development.

Alongside these new products, the company is updating its Roger 2.4 GHz wireless capabilities with the addition of MultiBeam Technology, using three microphones to form six directional beams to make it easier to differentiate specific sounds in group conversations and noisy situations.
