Porter Novelli announces changes to global health and wellness leadership
Porter Novelli has announced the appointment of several new members for its global health and wellness leadership team.
The agency has hired eight new recruits in the US, UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada and Mexico as it seeks to build upon the growth the health practice has experienced over the past 18 months, reports PRWeek.
A new role has been created for Lisa O'Sullivan in London as director of the European region's health and wellness client service, while Maura Bergen has been named executive vice-president for US pharmaceuticals, based in New York.
Meanwhile, Brian Thompson has been named as senior vice-president in New York and Shelly Spoeth as senior vice-president and practice lead for health and social impact in the agency's office in Atlanta.
New roles have also been handed to Veronica Gonzalez as head of the health and wellness team in Mexico City, Danielle Friskes as lead of the Netherlands health and wellness practice, Olalla Loureiro as account director in Madrid, and Rachael Crowell as vice-president of the Canada office.
Paul George, global head of the agency's health and wellness practice, said: "Because we have such a diverse healthcare client roster, from public health to venture capital funds to pharma to biotech, we do pride ourselves in being able to support the patients at every single point of the patient journey."
