Porter Novelli appoints director for health and wellness practice

13th December 2016

Porter Novelli has announced the appointment of Matthew Foster as a new director at its health and wellness practice in London.

Mr Foster joins the agency from pharmaceutical company AbbVie, where he served as senior corporate communications manager with responsibility for all external and above-brand communications.

He originally began his healthcare communications career at Burson-Marsteller, with his other previous employers including agencies such as Waggener Edstrom, Hill and Knowlton, and Tonic Life Communications, as well as the medical company Amgen.

Nicole Yost, head of health and wellness at Porter Novelli London, said: "As Porter Novelli London continues to grow and expand as a hub for global communications, Matthew's in-house experience and viewpoint help us further strengthen our health and wellness practice."

Porter Novelli's health and wellness team has almost doubled in size since 2015 thanks to a series of new business wins.

The firm also recently appointed Abigail Last as an associate director, with George Hickling, Charlie Price, Jessica Greenman and Alexander Emich joining as senior account executives.
