Propeller wins brief with mobile payments company Judo Payments

9th March 2015

Propeller has won a new contract with Judo Payments, a mobile payments platform that is currently embarking on an ambitious business expansion strategy.

The agency has been brought in to raise awareness of the business following a competitive pitch, taking over the account from financial and corporate comms agency Citigate Dewe Rogerson, reports PRWeek.

Judo Payments allows consumers to pay for goods via their mobile phones, with the service currently supported by food and drink outlets such as KFC, Harris and Hoole and Hummus Bros.

It recently closed a funding round of six million pounds led by venture capital firm Route 66 Ventures, which will be used to support its plans for growth. Propeller will be instrumental in helping the firm to communicate the value of its brand via trade and national media.

Kieran Kent, managing director of Propeller PR, said: "Mobile commerce is a really exciting area and brands are increasingly turning to this technology to engage with customers, boost revenues and drive loyalty."

The agency's existing client base includes brands such as O2, Mindshare, TubeMogul, Channel 5, DCM and Rebellion.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801778828-ADNFCR
