Prosurgics recruits new country manager for UK

Prosurgics, a firm which manufactures laparoscopic surgery cameras, has announced the appointment of a new UK country manager.

The latest addition to the company is Andrew Hatton, who will be at the helm of increasing the take-up of the organisation’s acclaimed and award-winning FreeHand robotic camera controller.

Chosen for the role due to his 24 years of successful sales and commercial management experience in the field of endoscopy and laparoscopy, Mr Hatton has previously worked as European sales and marketing director for the Stryker Corporation.

“We are confident that Andrew and his sales team will continue to meet the growing demand for FreeHand and promoting its numerous cost and time saving benefits to the UK laparoscopic market,” explained chief executive of Prosurgics Douglas Le Fort.

This news comes after Prosurgics signed an agreement with DI DEDDA SpA for the exclusive distribution of its Freehand camera controller in Italy.
