Purple Agency adds two members to healthcare team
The Purple Agency has announced two new senior appointments to its growing global healthcare team.
Andrew Jenkins, the former senior vice-president at FTI Strategic Communications, has been appointed as group account director to head up the healthcare unit. He will play a key role in helping to grow the agency's client base and develop its service offering.
Meanwhile, Terri Martin has taken up the position of account director for healthcare, joining the Purple Agency from Reading-based Porterhouse Medical.
The pair will be tasked with developing existing accounts, such as Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, while also working to secure new client wins. The agency already works with six of the top ten global pharmaceutical brands across a range of therapy areas.
Steve Shaw, head of the Purple Agency, said: "Andrew and Terri both bring extensive specialist expertise to this rapidly expanding international sector of our business, which includes pioneering developments in digital communications for patients and clinicians."
Other Purple Agency clients include the likes of Merck Sharp and Dohme, Pfizer, Canon, IBM and Honeywell.
