Quintiles unveils new brand identity and tagline
Quintiles has introduced a new unified brand identity in an attempt to promote the company’s position in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Chief marketing officer Millie Tan said that the Quintiles name will now function as an umbrella brand for the organisation’s various offerings, including clinical services, commercial services, consulting and capital.
The firm has also unveiled an updated company logo and a new tagline, “Navigating the New Health”.
John Ratliff, chief operating officer at Quintiles, explained the significance of the term.
“The New Health is our description of the rapidly changing world of biopharma,” he said.
Mr Ratliff added that the term “encapsulates the risks and opportunities” currently facing the industry, in light of changing economic factors and developments in healthcare.
Quintiles plans to communicate its new brand identity through a major advertising campaign, which will begin online and extend to trade and business publications in the US, Europe and Japan.
Earlier this month, the company’s success in forging a strategic alliance strategy with Solvay Pharmaceuticals was profiled in the Harvard Business Review.
