Radioactive PR hired by human propulsion tech firm Gravity

5th April 2017

Radioactive PR has been hired to promote the international launch of the British human propulsion tech start-up Gravity.

The company is seeking to publicise its arrival across Europe, Australasia and Africa, adopting a strategic approach to highlighting the commercial possibilities surrounding its technology over the coming months, reports Gorkana.

Founded by entrepreneur, inventor and former Royal Marines Reserve Richard Browning, Gravity is developing a flight suit called the Daedalus that uses arm-mounted jet engines to fly.

Radioactive PR officially launched Gravity to the press on March 31st, resulting in hundreds of pieces of coverage highlighting the flight suit's similarity to the technology used by the superhero Iron Man, with a promotional video on YouTube racking up millions of views.

The agency will also manage Gravity’s social media accounts as it seeks to build on this momentum. Radioactive PR founder Rich Leigh will lead the account, with support from account director Angharad Welsh, account manager Lydia Bryant and account executive Callum Gable.

Mr Leigh spoke of his excitement for the contract, saying this is "not just because I firmly believe pretty much every agency in the world would want to work on it, but because it is arguably one of the biggest technology launches in recent years".
