Radiometer presents transcutaneous monitoring solutions at ERS 2016
Radiometer is attending the European Respiratory Society's international congress in London this week, showcasing its latest transcutaneous monitoring innovations.
During the conference, which runs from September 3rd to 7th, the company is presenting the benefits of its TCM5 transcutaneous monitor, which offers a touchscreen intereface and intuitive features to facilitate the continuous, non-invasive monitoring of tcpO2, tcpCO2, Masimo SET SpO2, perfusion index and pulse rate in real time.
A number of different variants of the device are being exhibited, including the TCM5 Flex monitor – specially designed for sensitive patients such as neonates – and the TCM5 Basic, which operates in complete silence to enable monitoring of patients with sleep disorders.
These gold-plated sensors automatically recalibrate when placed in the calibration chamber, enabling highly reliable measurements even with prolonged use, while their onboard interactive tutorials help to minimise training requirements.
Radiometer is also showcasing its ABL90 Flex Plus analyser and HemoCue medical diagnostic products for point-of-care testing at this year's congress, offering further insight into how its devices can enhance respiratory health.
