11th February 2008

Randox has launched the latest model in its series of RX analysers – the RX daytona.

The fully automated clinical analyser comprises "an impressive range of attributes", including a large test menu and time-saving, cost-saving capabilities, according to the company.

It added that the bench-top analyser features permanent Pyrex cuvettes, an onboard reagent refrigeration and LIMS connectivity.

The RX daytona has capacity to hold 40 reagents bottles and 40 patient samples.

Its array of functions is "outstanding" stated Randox, "suited to any small or medium-sized laboratory or as a backup analyser in large laboratories".

Results are displayed in a "clear and precise" manner, and the quality control software utilises Levey-Jennings charts and multi rule quality control.

Randox is an international diagnostics company which markets its Biochip Array Technology; clinical chemistry analysers and reagents; quality controls and EQA; environmental diagnostics; recombinant proteins and antibodies worldwide.
