Ranieri wins brief with headphone brand AfterShokz

22nd February 2017

Ranieri has won a new contract with the headphone brand AfterShokz, a manufacturer of innovative headphone technology.

The agency has been tasked with handling UK PR for the client's bone conduction headphone range, including the Trekz Titanium and Sportz Titanium brands, reports Gorkana.

Originally developed for military special operations and law enforcement officers, bone conduction technology uses transducers to guide mini vibrations through the cheekbones to the inner ears, allowing users to listen to music without blocking their ears.

The company is seeking to position these products as a safe alternative for cyclists and runners when listening to music, with Ranieri's to organise a PR, events and influencer campaign targeting the lifestyle, health and fitness and technology sectors.

Ranieri was selected for this brief based on its strong track record in the health and fitness market, and the expertise and knowledge it can deliver.

Pietro Ranieri, managing director of Ranieri, said: "AfterShokz has already built a strong brand in the US and we're keen to replicate that success over here. The company's exciting and innovative technology will no doubt help us to build the story with consumers."
