RCVS reminds animal health professionals to submit forms

22nd January 2010

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has reminded individuals in the animal health industry to submit the information questionnaires it sent to them this month.

According to the organisation, it has distributed questionnaires to those in the industry, in order to gather information on issues such as their aspirations, working patterns and opinions on the sector.

The data will be used to assist the RCVS’ understanding of new trends, which will serve the body well when holding discussions with veterinary schools, the government and the general public.

Featuring a series of questions known as the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (WEMWBS), the survey will be carried out on behalf of the Institute of Employment Studies.

The body declared: “The deadline is Monday February 8th. Forms can be sent to the IES in the freepost envelope provided, or completed online.”

Established in 1844 when it was granted a royal charter, the RCVS upholds the statutory responsibilities detailed in the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966.
